Hire a full-time full-stack developer. Tested on real tickets, in your stack.
One developer who ships features end to end, from the database to the screen, in small reviewed pull requests, on your hours.
$3,500 a month, salary included. 2–3 vetted profiles in about two weeks.
What a full-stack developer owns, day to day.
Features from a ticket
The endpoint, the interface and the tests, shipped as one pull request someone can review.
Bugs and slow screens
They measure first (profiler, query log, network) and fix the cause, not the symptom.
Tests that catch regressions
Tests of what the user sees, and integration tests against a real database.
Internal tools
Admin panels, dashboards and the scripts your operations team keeps asking for.
APIs and integrations
REST or GraphQL, webhooks, and third-party APIs with their limits and errors handled.
Written handoffs
A clear PR description, notes on what’s next, and docs someone else can pick up.
How we test a full-stack developer.
A take-home test on React + TypeScript, with a Node or Python backend: about 2.5 hours of work, graded by an engineer. The same three parts are rebuilt in your stack: Next.js, Node or Python on the web, React Native for mobile, Shopify themes and apps.
Part 1
Ship a feature from a ticket
A customer drawer fed by a GraphQL endpoint, plus the endpoint itself: loading, error and empty states, closed with Esc, focus back on the row.
What passes Small commits, a clear pull request, every state covered.
Part 2
Fix a planted problem
A search box that lags on 5,000 rows, or an N+1 query behind the orders list.
What passes Opened the profiler first, then made the smallest fix that works, with numbers before and after.
Part 3
Write the tests
Tests that would catch a regression in the search and in the drawer, including its error state, plus one end-to-end test.
What passes Tests what the user sees, not implementation details.
Then, live
An interview with an engineer
They walk us through their work. We ask:
Your dashboard gets slow after a few filters. Where do you look first?
And one change, made live: add a status filter that works with the search, with a test.

ExampleProfile A
Engineer’s scorecard
- React
- TypeScript
- REST & GraphQL
- Testing Library
“Profiles before optimizing and tests what matters. Can own a feature end to end.”
Watch: Less GraphQL experience. Expect a short ramp-up there.
React + TypeScript, with a Node or Python backend · Graded by an engineer
Every profile you get comes with one, plus what they built and a short intro video in English.
Who gets through, and who doesn’t.
Must-haves
- Production React (or your front end) and TypeScript in strict mode
- A backend in Node or Python, and SQL
- REST and GraphQL APIs
- Tests with Testing Library, Vitest, Jest or Playwright
- Small commits, clear pull requests, code review
Red flags we screen out
- Turns off strict mode to make the errors go away
- useMemo on everything, without measuring
- A rewrite where a small fix would do
- Can’t walk through the code they sent
- One giant commit with no description
The seniority $3,500 a month buys
A solid mid-level to senior developer who owns features end to end in an established stack, works your hours and needs no hand-holding on everyday work.
Not a staff engineer or an architect to design a platform from scratch. If that’s the job, we’ll tell you on the call instead of sending profiles that don’t fit.
$3,500 a month. Salary included.
No placement fee, and nothing to pay until their first day. If they aren’t the right fit, we replace them at no cost, with a full handover.
Part-time or a set number of hours? Ask us on a call.

Which stacks do you test?
The one you run. The test is a feature, a planted problem and the tests, rebuilt in your stack: React, Next.js, Node, TypeScript or Python on the web, React Native for mobile, and Shopify themes and apps.
Will they work in our repo and our tools?
Yes. They work in your GitHub, your Slack and your tracker, on your hours. The code and the accounts are yours from day one.
How senior is a $3,500 developer?
Solid mid-level to senior, ready to own features. For a staff-level architect or a machine-learning specialist, we’ll tell you honestly on the call whether it fits.
